Two years ago, during a particularly cold and dank winter, I decided to take a photo a day. I began to see with new eyes. How fascinating to really see a crack in the sidewalk or a crack in the ice on a newly frozen lake, or the intricacy of a Shaker cheese basket.
Your basket photo and your comments reminded me of how we can transform objects or the objects can transform us.
I've been living in France since December 2003, but am originally from the West Indies. Married to Lucas (the reason I'm here). We have two fur babies, Mozaique and Naala. I have been scrapping since 2001, obsessively since late 2005. I also enjoy rubber stamping and other paper crafts. I love to read, travel, take photos and ocassionally I make candles. I hate being cold, and I love the beach!
