Trying a different corner today. After fighting for way too long to get a half-way decent shot I am seriously considering giving up this whole daily self-portrait deal. But I'm having a kinda blah Monday so I'll try again tomorrow!

There, that's better! Ready to meet the day! Granted it was at 1:30 this afternoon, but better late than never right? This time I placed the camera on top my monitor and used the timer. (Yesterday I did the arm stretched out trick). I'm realising that the corner by the computer desk is a pretty good spot for taking photos, it's well lit, with no direct beams of light.

My scrap space is crying out for a good clean, after having been neglected for at least a month. I've literally just been creating on top of the layers of mess, but it's time, I need to clean. At least just to have some space to work in for now!

Cats are so lucky. This is exactly what I feel like doing today, but can't because I am getting caught up from being away on vacation!

I heard about these flowers for the first time last week when someone posted a photo of them on a message board. I thought they were just gorgeous. Imagine my surpise today as I was walking into the city to come upon a patch of them! Thus confirming that I should take my camera with me everywhere I go.
